A lifelong neighbor, a trusted friend, and a candidate who puts Abita Springs first.
Bob Krieger
Candidate for Alderman · Abita Springs, LA
Bob Krieger isn't a politician — he's a neighbor. He's the guy who waves from his front porch, shows up to community events, and genuinely cares about the people who live on his street and across this town.
Bob has deep roots in Abita Springs. He's raised his family here, watched the town grow and change, and developed a clear sense of what makes this community special — and what it needs to thrive for the next generation.
"As a resident of the Abita Springs area for over 20 years, my commitment to our community runs deep. My life has been defined by service—first to our country, retiring as a Commander after 23 proud years in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve, and for the last 25 years as an educator, currently serving as the Director of Technology at a local private school. As a father of two and grandfather of five, I am deeply invested in the future of our town. I am running for Alderman to bring this lifetime of leadership, dedication, and problem-solving experience to town hall, ensuring Abita Springs remains a vibrant, safe, and thriving place for all of our families."
"I'm not running to build a political career. I'm running because I love this town and I want to make sure it stays the kind of place we're all proud to call home."
That's exactly what Bob has always done — and what he'll keep doing as your Alderman.
What Drives Him
Bob has lived in Abita Springs for years, raising his family here and building lasting friendships throughout the community. He knows this town because he lives it every day.
Before making decisions, Bob listens. He believes good local government starts with understanding what neighbors actually need — not what politicians assume they want.
This isn't a stepping stone for Bob. Abita Springs is his home, and serving as Alderman is his way of giving back to the community that has given so much to him and his family.

The pavilion in Abita Springs isn't just a landmark — it's a symbol of the community spirit that makes this town worth fighting for. Bob is honored to ask for your trust and your vote.
